PRIVACY POLICY

We are delighted that you are visiting our website and thank you for your interest! Protecting your privacy when using our website is important to us, so please take note of the following information regarding the handling of your data:

1) General Information on Handling Personal Data

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Each time you access our website, usage data is transmitted by your internet browser and stored in log files, known as server log files. These include the date and time of access, the name of the accessed page, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider. These data cannot be assigned to a specific person and are used solely to ensure the smooth operation of our website and to improve our services.

Personal data is collected only if you voluntarily provide it to us when opening a customer account or placing an order. The required data fields can be seen on the respective input forms. You may delete your customer account at any time by contacting us through the methods provided below. We store and use the data you provide to process contracts. After the contract has been fully processed or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be locked with regard to tax and commercial retention periods and deleted after these periods, unless you have explicitly consented to further use of your data or we are legally permitted to continue using it, as explained below.

When you contact us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data is collected. The type of data collected depends on the respective contact form. These data are used solely to respond to your request and for related administrative processes. Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been fully processed unless legal retention requirements prevent deletion.

2) Transfer of Personal Data for Order Processing

2.1 The personal data we collect will be passed on to the transport company responsible for the delivery, to the extent necessary for delivering the goods. We also transfer your payment details to the authorized financial institution for payment processing.

2.2 If you choose to pay via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or "purchase on account" via PayPal, your payment data will be transmitted to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. PayPal may conduct a credit check for these payment methods. The credit check result is used to determine whether the selected payment method can be provided. The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values) derived from scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical methods, incorporating address data into the calculation. For further data protection information, please refer to PayPal’s Privacy Policy: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.

2.3 If you choose a payment method via Stripe, your payment will be processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Block 4, Harcourt Centre, Harcourt Road, Dublin 2, Ireland. We provide Stripe with the necessary information, such as name, address, account number, bank code, credit card number (if applicable), invoice amount, currency, and transaction number. The transfer of your data is solely for payment processing. More details on Stripe’s privacy policy can be found at: https://stripe.com/de/terms.

2.4 If delivery is handled by the transport service DPD (DPD Dynamic Parcel Distribution GmbH & Co. KG, Wailandtstraße 1, 63741 Aschaffenburg), we will provide your email address and/or phone number to DPD for scheduling a delivery date or updating you on shipment status, provided you have explicitly agreed as follows:

"I agree that my email address and telephone number may be forwarded to DPD (DPD Dynamic Parcel Distribution GmbH & Co. KG) so that they can contact me via email or phone before delivery to coordinate the delivery date or provide shipment status updates. I can revoke this consent at any time."

If you do not consent, only the recipient's name and delivery address will be shared with DPD. In this case, scheduling a delivery date or receiving status updates will not be possible.
